LAFAYETTE CLUB 15, GENEST 5

Shawn Goodrich had a double and three singles to lead Lafayette Club to a 15-5 win over Genest.

The game was tied 5-5 after five, but Lafayette exploded for eight runs in the sixth to put it away. Others who had great days at the plate included Justin Carlson who drove in four runs with a double and triple, Colby Foster, who drove in three runs with a pair of singles, John Tierney, who had a double and two singles, Aaron Rivard, who drove in two runs with a pair of singles, and Cody Mooney, who had a two-run double.

Rivard went all the way to get the win, walking three and striking out four.

Dave Hamilton had a two-run homer for Genest while Casey Nava, Colby Adams and Spencer Plante had two singles each.
