Nellie got sprayed by a skunk this morning so I have to de-skunk her.  She is presently banished to the basement.  Hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and soap is what is recommended.  The tomato juice thing is apparently ineffective.

Now that the excitement of the tournament is over, I can look back at how well our kids played...

The team scored 37 runs in the three games they played.

Justin batted a wopping .909 for the tournament, hitting safely 10 out of 11 times.  He actually came to the plate 12 times but once was a sacrifice fly to score a run so that does not count toward the total offical at bats.

Justin drove in 13 of the 37 runs and crossed the plate 7 times himself.  This means he was involved in over half the runs scored.

Justin stole eight times in nine attempts.

Ya, I'd say he had a good tournement.

State tournament starts on Wedneday.
